Granite City Water is a trade name of Midwest Solutions LLC, Clearwater, MN (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We provide whole-home water filtration systems and related parts to customers in Central Minnesota. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, phone, and text messages, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you:
- Answer our website quiz to see if you qualify for the flat-rate package (name, phone number, email, and home address).
- Contact us by phone, text, or email with a question or to schedule service.
- Buy a replacement filter or part in our shop (name, shipping address, and payment details, processed by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number).
- Sign in to the customer or team portal.
We also automatically receive standard technical information from your browser (like your IP address and device type) when you visit our site, the same way most websites do.
How we use your information
- To respond to your quote request and schedule your installation.
- To send appointment confirmations, reminders, and updates about your install or order.
- To process payment for an installation or a shop order.
- To provide customer support if you reach out with a question.
- To keep accurate business records (e.g., inventory and service history).
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell it.
SMS & text messaging
If you provide your mobile phone number, you may receive text messages from Granite City Water related to your quote request, appointment scheduling, installation updates, or order status. Message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us. Message and data rates may apply. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for the full details on message types and opt-out.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at sales@granitecitywater.com.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except as needed to deliver the message itself (for example, our text messaging platform).
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal or contact information to third parties, and we never share your mobile phone number with anyone for their own marketing. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe, to process payments for installs and shop orders.
- Supabase, which securely hosts our customer and scheduling database.
- Our email provider, to send confirmations and receipts.
- A subcontractor plumber assigned to your installation, limited to what they need to complete the job.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of our customers and business.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts from us.
- Contact us to ask what information we have on file, correct it, or have it deleted, subject to records we’re required to keep (e.g., completed job and payment history).
How we protect your information
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our customer database, and a PCI-compliant payment processor (Stripe) for all card transactions.
Children’s privacy
Our services are directed at adults seeking home services and are not intended for children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
